The New Braun 3-380
When it comes to shaving, I have always backed tradition, a good razor, good oil and a bit of elbow grease. Well, time is becoming of the essence and we’re all struggling to keep up with the rat race of our hectic society, so when I was approached by Braun to try their latest electric shaver; Braun 3-380, I couldn’t refuse.
I’ll gladly admit, whilst opening the box of the Braun’s 3-380, an air of sceptical doom loomed over me, I was venturing into the unknown. What attracted me most to Braun’s 3-380 was the “Shave free weekend, pain free Monday” Slogan. Whilst off duty, my facial hair doesn’t see sight nor sound of my Mach 3, so an electric shaver that won’t tear my face apart on Monday morning after a shave free weekend? Definitely worth a try.
Here’s how the Braun 3-380 performed;
6:00 am Monday morning ,two days worth of heavy growth after my shave free weekend and the Braun 3-380 in hand, ready to go. Still slightly nervous about my hairs being painfully torn from their follicles, I start at the most hardy part of my growth- my cheeks. Smooth, slick and fairly pain free, but don’t forget, I did say the most hardy part of my face. Move to the neck area. The 3 blade system glides perfectly across my jaw line giving an almost ‘wet shave like’ close shave. On the neck, glides painlessly across my growth leaving a soft smooth finish.
The Braun 3-380 has totally changed my view on ‘power shaving with convenience.’ As far as electric shavers go, Braun’s 3-380 is about as good as it gets. For the image conscious guy who thrives on convenience. 10/10
