Razorpit – The Grooming Economist
Shaving is not only an arduous task, it’s an expensive one! Disposable razors can be pricey, some coming in at a whopping £12 for just 4 cartridges. Is there a way around this? Well, Razorpit – a brand new sharpening tool, claims to reduce your shaving related expenses by sharpening used blades back to suitable quality and ready for re-use. By simply stroking this silicone strip 3 times with a little shave oil and your used blade, Razorpit brings your cartridge back into form. But does it really work? We decided to put it to the test….
I believe that Gillette’s 5 blade fusion razor is the best on the market, but at £8.97 for 4 blades, is there anyway to extend this investment?
I have been using Razorpit now on the same blade for one week. I have shaved 6 times and ‘sharpened’ my blade using Razorpit after each shave. The first shave with a new blade is comfort personified. The razor glides across the skin like silk and shaves as close as it gets. But the second never quite feels the same. Razorpit sharpens the blade to a suitable edge, it doesn’t bring the razor back to brand new standards but it definitely extends its life. After one week, 6 shaves and Razorpit helping aid the whole process, my blade is certainly suitable for removing my growth and shaving close to the skin. I’m not experiencing any adverse irritation or ‘pulling’ of the hair.
The end of week 2 is here and I have shaved 12 times using the same blade. Razorpit has kept the cartridge in good form and my shave continues to be very comfortable.
At just £19.95 Razorpit is a worthwhile investment.

I’v been using RazopPit for 6 month now. Its a really nice product. Not only does it make my blades last a lot longer. It also makes them seem brand like new every time I use them. Best money ever spend!
I ordered razor pit couple of weeks ago, and the razor stills pulls and hurts while shaving. Im not really happy with it

19.95Euro plus tax and shipping is way too much. Sorry Razorpit, i give 1.5/5
that sales for less and uses the same plastic surface. I bit disappointed

I have found this site http://www.razorblades2u.com which I have been using to buy replacement razor blades from, as they offer discounts which make razor blades cheaper especially on the bigger packs.
I’m amazed at your post Mark. Bought mine six months ago and still really chuffed with results-saved a fortune on blades…… U using it right mate??
