Tried & Tested – Clearasil’s Seal to Clear
The odd breakout here and there, albeit not a major problem, can still make us a little conscious. To tackle the problem we basically have 2 options, conceal it or treat it. If you looking to conceal the rogue, try Disguys collection of men’s subtle make-up. A collection of great coloured tones to inconspicuously camouflage the beast. Alternatively if you’re looking to clear the issue and tackle it head on, you can always try a targeted treatment. With the recession looming its grim head again, we decided to trawl the supermarket shelves to see what a skincare budget as tight as gnat’s chuff can score you to rid your face of spots.
Introducing Clearasil’s Seal to Clear
This product basically covers the spot with a clear film to prevent any further contact with dirt, whilst the dehydrating, anti-bacterial qualities contained within work their armour on the beast itself. It’s incredibly easy to apply, similar to using a lip balm. No need to touch the product with your fingers as the convenient applicator is more than capable of smearing the formula on. So what does it look like on the skin? Well, it doesn’t. You can’t really see it once it’s on. The finish is matt – always good as light reflects shine, no risk here of the bright lights blowing your gaff. It really does help to reduce inflammation. The red ‘ring’ which a spot usually brings with it is heavily reduced. To completely clear the blemish, I’d hazard a guess at this formula doing it in half the time nature could. (I didn’t use a stop watch when trying this.)
