And yes, firstly, I know that having a character from a popular computer game emblazoned on a garment isn’t usually something we endorse at Sartorial Male, but the new Sackboy range is actually pretty cool.
In our defence, LittleBigPlanet isn’t a game to be measured against the standard offerings of gaming, as Sackboy’s world was genuinely a break through in bringing gamers from across the globe to connect through creating their own design offerings, delving into and dissecting their own platforms of escapism.
The game has developed a cult following, and although the aspect of the latest plat former won’t usually form the base of a conversation at the office party, or latest launch, but without that trusty buddy that sits underneath the television, waiting for your return, we (meaning I) would be lost.
Luckily, Sackboy is quite a cool guy himself, and as the launch of LittleBigPlanet2 is on the horizon, what better way to embrace such an event than let the little weirdo travel with you through the town centres. He has been kind enough to guide you through his world, so now, out of just human kindness, it should be our responsibility to do the same.
