Navigation through scent is Molton Brown’s latest investment into the ever ‘complex-ing’ world of fragrances. The MB team have enlisted the assistance of some of the finest noses that walk the land, and given them experiences to re-create through scent. Pretty tough, I know, but the outcome is something quite special. There are 5 scents in the collection, my favourite being Rogart. The odour is described as ‘London via Canada’ and the adventures that lie betwixt.

“Beat a retreat to the Cobequid Mountains of Nova Scotia. Log cabins and campfires. Cosy nights under northern lights. Bracing. Rugged. Slightly smoky.”

And all of the above it is. Molton Brown do tend to take the conventional path when it comes to extending their collection’s, however, on this occasion they’ve thrown caution to the wind and laid a path of their very own. Rogart is especially notable at present as the smoky, woody odour is perfectly suited to the autumn clime.
