Just three months ago, Stylist to the stars, Daniel Galvin Jnr, opened his brand new Colour Clinic in Belgravia. After a two year break between working with his father, Daniel has decided to go it alone and put his reputation in his own hands. Sartorial Male got an invite to sample some ‘Galvin Style Hospitality’, the best dressed men need the best hair cut so we couldn’t say no to this one! Here’s what we thought.

Tuesday 22nd June, Male Stylists, Steven O’neill and Graham Matthews visit Daniel Galvin Jnr’s Colour Clinic. Appointment booked for 3 o’clock.
3pm, arrive at the uber modern West London Salon, greeted by a team of the most congenial stylists, totally devoid of pretence. The salon takes on a minimalist approach to decor, hosting a fresh white interior and gleaming in cleanliness. Bag’s taken care of & offered a glass of bubbly- which I struggled to decline- we were escorted downstairs to a delightfully private area, out of public view, to encounter the Daniel Galvin Jnr Experience.
The task began with soothing peppermint hair treatment, accompanied by Robbie Williams singing one of his ‘Swing When You’re Winning Tracks’ from the TV screen conveniently located above the wash basins. Treatment rinsed off, straight into the chair with stylist Alfie Maher. Alfie has a wealth of experience in his field, tending to the celebrity hair-do here & there, as do all of the team, so expectations where high. Satisfied? It would have been easier to swim the channel than to find any fault with the cut, It’s quite possibly one of the best I’ve experienced. During my time with Alfie, Celebrity Nail Technician Zoe Pocock, manicured my fingers to perfection. Zoe free-lances at the salon so was lucky enough to be invited on a day when she was around. The team at the establishment really do come from good stock, having one of the countries Leading Hair Dresser’s teach them all they know, they were well handled apprentices! The salon assures complete discretion, offering private areas for colouring & cutting. A host of cutting edge treatments are on offer to keep your barnet on form. Looking to add a little more Pepper to your Salt? The salon offers the fantastic ‘Silver Fox treatment’ which sees silver hair slightly darkened to add a distinguished edge to your look.

The products used have been specifically created by Daniel himself, totally organic and free of harsh detergents, paving the way in ‘Greener Hair Styling.’ All products are available to purchase from his online store.
